If there’s one thing we like about Tuttee, it’s the fact that they focus on exam strategies.

They don’t just stick to concepts or theoretical knowledge; instead, they help students understand exam patterns. 

In fact, students mentioned that they learned how questions are usually asked and how to answer wisely. That gives them an edge on examinations.

Also, we like that they offer personalised lessons based on the weaknesses of each student. This is a big advantage compared to other tutors who have one-size-fits-all lessons.

We also appreciate that they track the progress of their students properly. They have detailed reports that students and parents can look at. This gives you a feeling that you’re not just attending random sessions.

We also appreciate their tutors for being passionate. Students note that they have teaching techniques that make math learning enjoyable and effective.

However, we think that Tuttee is only for those who are looking to get better at scoring in exams. If you’re looking for slow, conceptual learning, they might not be the right choice.

All Around Education Academy caught our attention because they have a strong track record and results across IB, IGCSE, and A-level students.

They’ve handled thousands of students with strong exam results. That alone gives them a clear edge against other newer tutor centres.

Also, that record tells how well-established they are, adding more credibility.

Apart from that, we also like their structured tutoring. Their lessons include past paper practice, exam techniques, and clear explanations. Students shared that each session’s goal is clear to them and not just a random meetup.

We also like that they offer flexibility. For instance, they have group classes, private sessions, and home tutoring. This flexibility is a big help for those with a tight schedule.

We also felt reassured that their tutors are thoroughly selected. They’re very selective on their hiring process, which shows that they care about the teaching quality each tutor can give.

The only downside is that it’s a larger tutor centre, making the experience a bit less personal.

Aside from its witty name, one thing we like about Archimede HK is that they’re focused on deeper conceptual understanding rather than just drills. 

From what we’ve seen, they’re more focused on helping students understand math instead of memorising methods or formulas. For us, that’s refreshing since most tutors in Hong Kong are exam-focused.

We also think that by understanding the concepts themselves, they’re trying to build long-term skills and not just short-term grades.

It’s also worth highlighting that their tutors know how to encourage their students to think critically. They use various teaching methods to really fuel the students’ comprehension and curiosity. 

Their student support is also commendable. Their role as tutors doesn’t stop when their session ends. Students note that their tutors are also reachable when they have questions outside their session hours.

The only hitch? This approach is not for everyone, especially if you’re preparing for exams or want quick score improvements.

Keystone Tutors is another solid option for British curriculum students due to their access to UK-trained tutors.

Right from the start, we feel like this centre is a lot more premium compared to others. The biggest thing we noticed is how they have tutors familiar with how the British system works. 

This is why most of their students are those doing IGCSE, IB, and even entrance exams to UK schools. We can clearly say that they’re not just a generic tutoring service.

We also like that they take the effort to build confidence within their student. This is great for those second-guessing themselves in exams. Not all tutors take time to develop the soft skills of students, and we’re glad Keystone Tutors did.

Their tutors are also experienced and structured. Students and parents mentioned that tutors always come in prepared and that their pacing doesn’t feel rushed.

Just one thing to keep in mind is that they’re definitely not the cheapest option. Their rates are on the higher side, which might not be ideal for those looking for short-term help.

We found Mathemagic through a parent’s recommendation. Turns out, this tutor centre is great for those looking to master the basics.

We think Mathemagic is ideal for primary students who are on their way to building their number sense. 

We appreciate their commitment to fix the root problem instead of patching things up before exams. They target both the math skills and confidence of their students, giving their approach a lot more sense. 

We also noticed that their lessons are quite personalised. They adjust their materials and teaching style based on the progress of their students. 

We think their online and home tutoring also adds flexibility. This is very helpful for students who are more comfortable learning from the comfort of their home.

Aside from that, we like how calm and supportive their environment is. Their tutors are readily available for questions, patient, and friendly. This kind of environment helps students stay focused without feeling pressured.

That said, Mathemagic isn’t for high-performing students who are looking for advanced techniques or exam strategies.
