Moyo, meaning “to get together,” is a Korean restaurant in Hong Kong started by Korean friends that met in Italy. As a result, their restaurant offers a unique and interesting combination of Korean dishes with an Italian twist.
One of the things we like about Moyo is its ambience and service. Upon entry, you will feel comfortable because of the decor and the quick, attentive staff.
The restaurant was packed on our visit, and this happens pretty often, especially on weekends, according to one of the customers we interviewed. Despite the large crowd, there was only a short wait time before they served the food, which we found amazing.
However, you might still want to book a table beforehand to avoid any trouble finding seats and parking.
We also enjoyed Moyo’s delicious food. We liked the taste of the customer’s favourite truffle beef tartare and were impressed by their Korean fried chicken’s flavour and considerable serving size.
Moyo’s drink selection is also noteworthy, considering not only flavour but also range. The restaurant serves Korean spirits, Italian wines, and cocktails, among others.
Overall, Moyo’s food and drinks, attentive staff, and cosy atmosphere made us understand why it draws such a crowd.

Hansik Goo is a Korean Restaurant in Hong Kong that reinterprets Korean cuisine. Although they offer primarily tasting menus, the food they serve is enough of a delight to warrant the smaller portion sizes.
We enjoyed the food served in Hansik Goo. The chefs took traditional Korean dishes and gave them a high-end twist using fresh ingredients, giving them a lovely presentation and an even better taste.
The restaurant also changes its menu based on seasonal ingredients, making it a place to go when you want to explore Korean dishes that change every few months.
We also liked how extensive the restaurant’s menu is. Their drinks menu alone is already over 30 pages long, and they offer a variety of dishes depending on whether you dine during supper or lunch.
We also appreciate the friendly, accommodating staff and the spacious, comfortable venue. On our visit, we found the staff exceptional because of how much attention they gave us, from suggesting dishes to explaining how they chose each ingredient carefully for every meal.
In addition, one of the customers we talked to said that they appreciate Hansik Goo’s team for catering to their needs and allergies, adjusting almost every dish just to ensure everyone gets to eat safely.
However, Hansik Goo’s main issue comes with its pricing. The food they offer starts at $1,398 per person, excluding drinks.
If you could afford extravagant prices, you can expect Hansik Goo to provide you with a memorable experience.

Mr Korea BBQ is a Korean restaurant in Hong Kong that provides an authentic Korean grill experience. In this restaurant, you order the marinated meats and cook them yourself using the grill on the table.
One of the things we like about Mr Korea BBQ is the range of dishes they offer in different flavours. They also have an extensive list of beverages, including soju if you’re interested in drinking.
The food was delicious and flavourful, and we appreciated the continuous refilling of appetisers that left us feeling full and satisfied.
The restaurant was not crowded during our visit, but some of the restaurant’s previous customers noted that it can get quite packed during weekends and rush hours. With that in mind, we recommend booking a table beforehand to ensure you get proper seating.
Another thing we like about Mr Korea BBQ is how accessible it is. The store is open daily from noon to midnight, even on holidays.
The restaurant is also located near the MTR station, so you can easily reach it by commuting. However, it is crucial to note that you will have to climb a long flight of stairs to get to Mr Korea BBQ, which can be a problem for wheelchair accessibility.

Myung Ga is a Korean Restaurant in Hong Kong with three different locations. The restaurant began operations in 1996 in its primary location in Causeway Bay but has since extended its services to Tsim Sha Tsui and Taikoo Shing.
One noteworthy thing about these branches is that they’re open daily and operate for long hours, even if they take a short break between lunch and dinner.
One of the things we enjoy about Myung Ga is its extensive menu. The restaurant offers a wide range of authentic Korean cuisine, from appetisers and barbecues to stews and noodles.
We also like how they offer meals in sets, which is great for those arriving in groups. We found the dishes delicious, especially for their relatively affordable prices.
The entire experience was made better by the beautiful and comfortable venue and ambience. In the Causeway Bay branch, we suggest reserving a seat by the windows, as these tables have an impeccable view of the harbour.
We suggest reserving a table because the restaurant was crowded during our visit. We asked a few customers, and they said Myung Ga gets packed often, especially on weekends.

Goobne is a casual restaurant that began offering varieties of healthy roasted chicken in Korea in 2005. Since then, they have established branches all over Asia, including six Korean restaurants in Hong Kong.
These restaurants are one of Goobne’s strengths. Aside from having multiple branches customers can visit, Goobne makes their dishes more convenient by having each store offer delivery services through various platforms, which adds points for accessibility.
Another thing we enjoy about the restaurant is the variety of flavours they have on their menu. They have over a dozen different flavours of chicken, multiple salads, and a diversity of Korean soups and dishes with a Korean twist.
As such, you might have to spend multiple visits just to try every item on their menu. We also found the experience amazing due to the friendly, attentive service crew and the comfortable, modern ambience.
The food is also relatively more affordable compared to other Korean restaurants, making Goobne a good choice for casual dining with friends or family.
However, the restaurant’s delicious food and low prices draw in quite a crowd, so you might want to book a reservation beforehand.
