Dr. Chan Yuen Ling won our favour for her clear and detailed explanations of treatments and vaccination options. The families we interviewed all agreed that the consultations were stress-free because Dr. Ling was polite, patient, and compassionate.

The clinic is a solid one-stop healthcare center too. It offers essential services like family medicine, orthopedics, dentistry, and nutrition counseling. We also liked that the team has diagnostic and surgical experience, making them ideal for complex cases.

In general, the clinic’s focus is on preventive strategies, offering access to long-term wellness programs. We like the offerings, covering foundationals like weight management and generalized consultations.

Dr. Chan Yuen Ling’s services are available in this TST location with extended weekday and Saturday hours. This makes her an accessible choice for busy families who prefer seeing doctors during downtime.

We only wish to see more transparency with their pricing, as the clinic isn’t very upfront with rates. Longer wait times can be expected during weekdays too, so booking at an earlier date is advised.

The London Medical was founded in 2012 by UK-trained doctors. With a long-standing reputation, we find them a reliable choice for family-friendly healthcare in the city.

The clinic has multiple family doctors on board to deal with various health needs. Dr. Lily Wong, for instance, is often mentioned for her accurate diagnoses and detailed treatment plans.

On the other hand, Dr. Gordon is often described as thorough and caring. 

The facility itself is impressive. Spanning over 3,600 square feet, the clinic’s consultation rooms are spacious. There are even dedicated spaces for specialized programs like physiotherapy, pilates, podiatry, and acupuncture,

The range of services is as great as the physical space. Families can take advantage of their health checks, vaccination services, and health screening. Surgery for minor, low-risk conditions is also available.

Unfortunately, the rates are on the higher end, which can be a dealbreaker for families who need services for multiple members. Emergency services are a little off too, as they rely on external GPS for after-hours services. 

Nonetheless, with welcoming and approachable staff and professionals, we find them a solid choice for long-term needs.

Dr. Li Kwok Tung specializes in general medicine, allowing him to provide comprehensive care across a wide range of conditions. This includes acute illnesses and the management of chronic diseases.

We like that he has a placement in a multi-speciality hospital. This gives him access to a strong network of specialists, which means patients can be seamlessly referred to the right professional when necessary.

Speaking of which, patients benefit from the hospital’s integrated approach. Under one roof, patients can easily access diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, and treatment facilities. When the need arises, there’ll be no need to contact a different provider.

The hospital environment is comfortable and private. Consultation rooms are modern, which makes clients feel less anxious during the process. And with Dr. Li being attentive, caring, and professional, sessions feel seamless.

However, it being a private hospital means higher costs compared to other options. The location in Happy Valley may be less convenient for patients outside of Hong Kong Island too. Take note of these things before giving them a call. 

Dr. Lee Ying Cheung is a top choice for families needing a wide scope of services, including general consultations and preventative care.

We also like his specialty in niche treatments like weight management programs and management of chronic illnesses like diabetes and asthma.

The vaccinations are comprehensive. They cover HPV, influenza, pneumococcal, and other essential immunizations. This makes them a one-stop preventive care provider for all life stages.

Efficiency is also a major win – in fact, multiple patients noted minimal wait times, even during periods that are considerably busy. The diagnoses remain accurate and in-depth, despite spending as little time as possible.

Patient care is a great point. The doctor himself was compassionate, thorough, and friendly, so consultations never felt like a drag. Plus, the nurses and staff are all welcoming and warm, ensuring a positive clinic experience.

Just take note that availability is limited on Sundays and public holidays, which can be inconvenient for some patients. They’re also limited in terms of handling complex treatments, so you may want to look into a different provider for specialized needs.

In particular, it’s the range of services that makes them stand out. Offerings include general outpatient care, family medicine, and diagnostics. Vaccinations and mental health support are also available. 

We also like that they offer support in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Being a big healthcare group, they have many doctors on board whom families trust. One is Dr. Fan, a widely recognized family doctor specializing in chronic conditions and guiding patients through aging-related health needs.

There’s also Dr. Cheung and Dr. Chiu, who are often commended for their warm and empathetic care.

Wait times are surprisingly minimal despite how busy they are. In fact, we had a visit when wait times only took about 20 minutes, significantly faster than most private clinics.

If there were any point for delays, it would be that prescription processing is slower than expected. On top of that, popular doctors often have full schedules, making it hard to secure your first appointment.
