Good to know: Offers authentic Vietnamese comfort food
Hidden amidst the bustling Mercer Street is a rustic Vietnamese food joint named An Choi. In this casual eatery, you can savor authentic Vietnamese comfort foods that look and taste like those served on Saigon’s busy street food markets.
We recommend their Bánh Mì sandwiches, especially the ones filled with cold cuts and shredded chicken. And of course, since we’re talking about Vietnamese comfort food, you can’t miss their phở. We suggest you try their Saigon-style Phở and Hanoi-style Phở.
Just a quick reminder: It’s a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, so you might miss it. To avoid this, be on the lookout for an eatery with bright yellow walls and spray-painted ads. It also has old awnings and handwritten menu boards.
