SC Gallery is a thriving art hub that aims to preserve and promote the city’s visual heritage. It’s led by Sharon Cheung Po-Wah, a well-known veteran journalist in Hong Kong with a knack for spotting both emerging and seasoned local talents.
For this reason, the gallery features a diverse roster of contemporary artists who do everything from realism to abstract work. Some pieces we especially love are Tsang Chu Mei’s Fall Will Be Fine and Doris Chui’s Watching Doomsday in My Bed.
The current exhibition, N-O-C-I, is a collaboration between two new local artists – Jay Lau, a print-maker, and Benny To, a ceramic artist. Together, these artists showcase woodcut prints and sculptures to represent the ideas of destruction and rebirth.
