Excellent Harbourfront Club with Top Facilities
A private club for fans of yachting. Located at the most spectacular site of the Victoria Harbour. Buoys are already full, need to wait for a long time. Club facility is excellent. Difficult to join.

Offering much more than traditional field sports, the South China Athletic Association features specialized courses like fencing, indoor shooting, artistic cycling, and yoga.
Members can practice on a 60-lane bowling alley, test an indoor golf simulator with over 200 virtual courses, or train on their Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) certified stadium pitch.
Operating out of both Causeway Bay and the Kowloon Tennis Centre, this venue provides incredible athletic variety in central locations.
During my chat with a long-term member at the range, they praised the comprehensive layout but noted that booking rules are quite strict.
You need to be physically present to use any reservation you make, and private coaching is restricted strictly to assigned staff.
Huge Sports Centre with Activities for All Ages
It is a large sports centre with things you can book. There’s indoor swimming pool, basketball court, bowling area, badminton and many more, it also provides a wide range of classes that you or your kids can attend, amazing 👏 😉 After doing sports, there are also restaurants there for you and your loved ones to enjoy together, not only that, but also sports equipment rental or you can buy standard sports equipments there, isn’t that amazing?

Affordable Membership with Extensive Sports Facilities
Probably the biggest sports complex on Hong Kong island. Members only but membership is pretty cheap. It has a heated swimming pool, squash courts, sports hall, driving range, bowling lanes to name but a few. Worth checking it out if you live near by

Steeped in rich history since 1904, Kowloon Cricket Club centers its action around an internationally recognized cricket pitch that hosts the prestigious International Cricket Sixes.
Players can also refine their skills in turf training nets or utilize facilities for tennis, squash, lawn bowls, badminton, and football.
The social environment is equally impressive, offering multiple dining venues, swimming pool refreshments, and dedicated wine societies that rival standard sports bars in Hong Kong.
However, securing an ordinary voting membership requires a steep HK$380,000 entrance fee. Additionally, members can’t bring tennis guests on weekends or public holidays, which can limit casual weekend hits with friends.
Historic Cricket Club with Excellent Dining
The old world charm of an old well established cricket club with years of history. 2 well maintained natural grass lawn bowls greens, a little slow / heavy , typical for this time of the year I was told. Delicious chinese food to be found at the club restaurant , especially the seafood dishes. 👍👍👍 A place worth visiting or getting invited to for a meal , especially if you are a cricket fan.

Great Coaching and Grass Facilities for Kids’ Sports
Great venue for kids team sports namely cricket , hockey , football for members and guests – great set up and great coaches, with competitive and fun teams, pity no rugby or netball yet. Convenient and quiet location with training on grass just of TST.

Their Tai Hang grounds feature indoor and outdoor tennis courts, swimming pools, squash facilities, a pickleball court, and a modern golf zone.
The launch of the upgraded Block D complex also introduced fresh dining and athletic spaces, adding modern flair to an institution founded back in 1912.
However, ordinary membership comes with a steep HK$800,000 entry cost alongside an extra construction levy.
Outside organizations facing strict application hurdles will also find that facility access is strictly limited to registered schools or approved non-profit organizations.
Fantastic Dim Sum and Upgraded Club Facilities
Dim sum is fantastic and the newly renovated main building is an excellent update! They did a great job with choosing fittings that look really nice and cozy. Has over 12 tennis courts and also 4 new TrackMan virtual golf rooms. Wish the golf rooms would allow food and drinks though. Decent value in the restaurants.

Convenient Recreation Club for Tennis Lovers
Good recreation club. You can enjoy tennis or else here. Close to Victoria Park, Queen’s College and Central Library. After playing tennis, let enjoy foot and body massage in Zenxes Foot Retreat in Happy Valley. Very professional and modern. Here we can meet many foreign residents who like Zenxes service too. Amazing!
