Indo Handyman is a good choice for simple home and office furniture repairs. Their furniture technicians can handle the basics, including assembling furniture, installing extra shelves or hanging rods, and repairing and replacing hinges. 

When working on-site, we noticed how efficient and punctual they are. Previous clients also noted this, and many praised Indo Handyman’s prompt and meticulous services. 

In addition to the repair itself, they’re also very particular about the clean-up process, ensuring everything is spotless before they leave. Thanks to this, they’ve established a good reputation and gained more returning customers.   

We also appreciate that their team speaks English fluently and is very friendly, so it’s easy to talk to them via call or email. 

However, we’re disappointed they don’t offer furniture restoration services and only handle essential furniture maintenance and repairs.   

Additionally, there is no detailed pricing table. Nonetheless, the starting rate of HKD 199 makes their services reasonably priced.

The Furniture Clinic’s focus on leather, wood, and fabric is impressive. Whether you’re looking to repair your luxury home furniture or car interior, they’ve got you covered.

Originally based in the United Kingdom, they have expanded globally and now have a branch in Hong Kong that handles various maintenance and repairs. 

Their work includes stain removal, color restoration, reupholstery, and wood repair, among many others. Honestly, it’s hard to find a furniture repair shop that offers a similar range of services under one roof.

The informative videos on their website deserve a shout-out, too. If you need step-by-step guides on maintaining and cleaning different types of furniture, just browse through them.   

However, the no walk-ins policy at their shop can be restrictive. You can’t just pop by with your broken furniture because you’ll need to book an appointment via call or email first.

Dr. Fix It All is a well-known handyman service provider that handles mundane tasks and household repairs.  

They won us over with their large team of skilled craftsmen. Unlike smaller handyman shops that might struggle with availability, Dr Fix It All has specialists for furniture assembly, maintenance, and basic repairs.

Although they don’t specialize in furniture restoration, they still offer repair and replacement for furniture parts, painting jobs, and even furniture disassembly. 

If you need new furniture for your space, they can also build bespoke pieces, such as a full-height wardrobe and a designer bar table.  

Another big plus for us is their good communication with clients. We like that they keep in touch via WhatsApp and provide quick scheduling when you contact them. 

In fact, clients support this, too. Many of them commend Dr. Fix It All’s responsive customer service.   

However, their service area is limited to Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. Unfortunately, they don’t cover the New Territories and other islands.

When it comes to furniture, they can assemble all shelves, desks, and frames for residential and commercial spaces. 

Moreover, they perform minor furniture repairs and restorations. These include polishing dull or damaged furniture, removing watermarks and imperfections, and applying protective wax coatings.  

Our only complaint about Papabo is that its furniture restoration services are limited. It’s not the best choice for reupholstery or antique restoration.
