At The Women’s Clinic, we loved the wide scope of solutions offered under one roof. We found it to be a comprehensive women’s health provider. They offer services such as vaccinations, annual checkups, fertility evaluations, and more.

Based on these offerings, we can say that they’re a solid choice for women at various stages in their lives.

During our interviews, we kept hearing again and again about the gynecologists’ gentle and thorough attitude. During consultations and treatments, the approach is personalized, and patients never feel rushed at any point.

We also recognized that patients commend them for successful outcomes. A few of the success stories involve smooth pregnancy deliveries, positive IVF journeys, and successful egg freezing procedures. 

Although on the pricier side, we think the value for money is excellent. This is because their standard pricing of $3,000 already includes consultation, ultrasound, and medication. Vitamins and injections are also included.

We found their staff welcoming and attentive. However, the long wait times are frustrating. For urgent, high-pressure concerns, it may be best to look elsewhere. 

With our team of experts, we found ourselves drawn to HKRMC for the range of advanced technology they offer. They specialize in assisted reproductive services, including IVF, IUI, and ovarian tissue freezing.

They also explain ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) options well, helping couples decide on the most suitable treatment plans.

The state-of-the-art technology is further emphasized by their highly skilled specialists. For instance, Dr. Chan Yik Si holds advanced degrees in clinical embryology, while Dr. Helen Liang has extensive accreditations from the UK.

More importantly, we give credit for their ability to carry out personable care while still maintaining a good sense of professionalism. As we’ve gathered from chatting with their patients, they listen to concerns and are respectful when offering solutions.

We do find it troubling, however, that there were a few issues with the accuracy of their health screening procedures. Plus, costs are higher compared to other clinics, which can be a barrier for some couples. 

Gleneagles Hospital is one of Hong Kong’s most reputable health centers, offering a wide range of medical services. 

For gynecology, the range of solutions is similarly impressive. They cover obstetrics, menopause care, and advanced therapies like HIPEC.

We were particularly stuck on how comprehensive their pricing is. The hospital offers structured medical packages that cover doctors’ fees, room charges, medications, diagnostics, and nursing care.

This helps patients understand the cost upfront, so they can fully prepare for any treatment.

However, it’s best to take note that they also require large upfront deposits, which may be difficult for some patients.

On the good side, they also offer flexible payment options. They accept major credit cards, Alipay, WeChat Pay, and even bank drafts. With this, we can easily say that they’re convenient for both local and international patients. 

Even if the hospital is big in scale, we acknowledge how caring and personable their staff is. There’s little to no language barrier, making stays feel more comfortable. 

However, you may find it frustrating that paperwork is occasionally delayed, which can affect your insurance claim processing.

One thing we liked about Matilda International Hospital is that they offer end-to-end solutions in women’s health. Services cover everything from routine exams to specialized gynecological treatments.

We appreciate how patients can access almost everything here. Offerings include procedures such as dilation & curettage, hysteroscopy, colposcopy, and ovarian cystectomy.

We also appreciate the availability of total care packages and hospital packages. The transparent package pricing helps patients anticipate costs with detailed pricing breakdowns for procedure type and room category.

For complex procedures requiring hospital admission, there are plenty of benefits too. It’s one of the very few hospitals in HK that offers stunning views in a luxury environment. Even the meals are of high quality.

Despite the generally positive experience, we did notice that waiting times were long – during one visit, delays took up to 2 hours. A few patients also said their refunds were delayed due to poor administrative management.

Being a big hospital network offers many advantages, one of which is having the capacity to carry out complex procedures. At Central Health, for example, they’ve carried out over 12,000 successful deliveries in their 30 years of operation.

For women concerned with pregnancy needs, it’s reassuring to know that the hospital has a record of low birth complications.

Beyond simply looking at records, we also interviewed patients to verify this. We’re happy to note that patients agree that the staff are caring and supportive throughout the process. This made them feel less anxious.

The quality of care can also be seen in their circle of specialists. For instance, a dedicated sonographer is available for on-site scans, while midwives provide individual follow-ups.

Compared to most clinics, their gynecological services appear limited for their size. Despite this, we still say that they’re a convenient and accessible choice, thanks to their out-of-hours service for existing patients.
