Since opening its doors in 2005, Swiss Art Studio has delivered exceptional art classes that Hong Kong parents trust for professional Western art education.
What’s notable about this studio is that it secured an exclusive authorisation from Royal Talens in 2007 to co-develop the Dutch Painting Art Certificate Course, providing children and teenagers with an internationally recognised learning path.
It’s a very structured approach that’s perfect for building a strong, traditional foundation.
A close friend of mine actually enrolled her daughter, and she was amazed at how quickly the course transformed her technique. She’s even considerably more confident in her sketches and paintings now.
You’ll also love the teaching team; they’re experienced and flexible, and they offer a great variety of courses so kids can really master everything from acrylics to oil pastels.
Just keep in mind that the curriculum is strictly focused on Western techniques, so if you’re looking for exposure to traditional Eastern painting styles, you’ll need to look elsewhere.

Fantastic service
Amazing experience!
I am very beginner in painting, but I did my first picture 🤩🎨
I had Wine & Paint class, my teacher was Zhenya, she is calm, paying attention to details. Zhenya explained me where I have to start, how to use brush, what colours I can mixed and poured me some wine at the same time. Fantastic service 🔥.
And also this class I can relate to Art-therapy, I left calm with great mood and picture in my bag 🥰.

Highly recommended
Going to a Lunchtime Destress Doodle class with Katie over the past three years has brought me an incredible peace of mind. She invites you to participate in the creativity, showing you lots of options, and lets you work. I didn’t think I was particularly creative but find that I am, thank you Katie. She teaches you techniques and then encourages you to do what makes you happy. And the best advice is to just keep going. You probably will like what you have done when you actually finish the project! I highly recommend her workshops and classes!

Definitely worth a try!
Katie’s classes are a delight. I’m always learning something new, both art techniques and about myself. The community is so welcoming and supportive- and Katie herself is like a big warm hug. Definitely worth a try!

Diving into a unique hands-on craft provides a brilliant escape from the usual weekend routines.
Mosaic Art Studio Hong Kong offers immersive sessions that stand out among the city’s art classes, allowing you to craft traditional Turkish mosaic lamps. They also host Turkish coffee workshops, which adds variety to the experience.
The best part is that you don’t need any prior crafting knowledge to join, as the step-by-step guidance makes the entire process incredibly straightforward.
Overall, this studio makes for a fantastic social outing with friends or family.
The main downside is their rigid booking policy, since rescheduling your session within 48 hours incurs a strict handling fee of 150 HKD per person.
On the bright side, their flat studio fee already covers the entire assembly experience.
