Apex offers a good mix of medical dermatology services and cosmetic procedures. Services are priced competitively too, with consultations starting at $1,200 – an extended consultation will set you back only $1,500.

One of their best offerings is surgical dermatology, covering mole, cyst, and lipoma removals. According to the clients we interviewed, the recovery process was seamless, thanks to their consistent post-procedure support.

Cosmetic dermatology is another solid area. Among their wide range of offerings are popular options like fractional lasers for acne scars, HIFU fast lifting, and Pico lasers for pigmentation.

Clients all agreed that results were already visible in just a few sessions, allowing them to save money through immediate outcomes.

Bookings via WhatsApp are quick and efficient, making them accessible for most HK locals. On top of that, the staff and professionals were all attentive and accommodating, which made the experience more stress-free.

However, one common criticism we found was inconsistency in appointments. Some patients experienced delays or felt rushed due to overlapping consultations. Improvements here will make the entire experience more hassle-free.

SkinCentral’s biggest strength lies in its extensive range of services. 

On the medical side, the clinic covers everything. They can treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, and fungal infections. They even specialize in complex conditions like skin cancer and androgenetic alopecia.

They’re also very well-regarded for their range of aesthetic treatments, which include everything from pigment lasers to cryolipolysis for fat reduction. In general, clients all praised the long-lasting results they enjoyed here.

There is also a solid range of advanced cosmetic technologies. We liked that clients can easily access offerings for derma fillers and HIFU at fairly competitive prices.

Plastic surgery is another area of expertise here. Everything is handled by their in-house specialist, covering services like eyelid surgery, scar revision, and tumor excisions. 

The feedback in these cases is overwhelmingly positive, with patients highlighting how clear the pre- and post-procedure instructions were.

The biggest downside we noted was how long the waiting times are. The first consultation is also relatively pricier than most clinics, so consider it before committing to a service.

Dermamier offers a solid range of services that cover a wide spectrum of skin concerns, including acne, eczema, and psoriasis. They even offer services for more complex conditions, such as mole screening, hyperhidrosis, and even skin cancer surgeries.

What stood out to us during our visits was the team’s level of patient care. Assistants are all compassionate, and clients all said they felt truly cared for. They even make follow-up calls after the procedure to check up on the client.

In addition to these, treatment procedures are clearly explained to clients, often focusing on realistic expectations rather than grand promises. And since the clinic is very comfortable, clients feel very relaxed during consultations.

We also loved that they offer specialized cosmetic procedures such as Miradry for excessive sweating and laser treatments for pigmentation or scars. The best part is that major improvements can already be seen after only weeks of treatment.

Please take note that this still depends on the procedure and your unique conditions.

Pricing, however, is one area where patients expressed concerns. Consultations and treatments can easily cost upwards of $2,000. While most agreed that the quality was excellent, others still felt that the costs were too limiting.

Their technology is a commendable factor, too. Using options like the Visia® 7 skin analysis and Canfield Intellistudio® imaging, doctors can tailor treatments to a client’s specific skin concern. 

Even their lightening treatments are carried out with top-notch equipment like Thermage FX and Ultherapy PRIME.

Clients we spoke to especially highlight the clinic’s solid range of injectables and rejuvenation. Treatments include popular offers, including Botox, hyaluronic acid fillers, Hydrafacial, and more.

Another key advantage is the professionalism of their experts. Treatments are customized, and the approach is highly supportive. Additionally, the clinic’s transparent costs and occasional service promotions make the offerings more accessible. 

However, we did note that results and experience aren’t consistently good across all services. We heard a few complaints from clients who haven’t seen any improvements, even after multiple sessions.
