For reference, the initial consultation starts at $1,200 for new patients and $1,000 for follow-ups. These rates are competitive and even slightly more affordable than most clinics. 

Dr. Ng’s bedside manner is also worth noting. Keeping solid communication open, he speaks slowly and never rushes consultations. This allows patients to really go in-depth with their needs.

The only thing you may have trouble with is that they require bringing complete medical records and medication history for an appointment. It may be troubling for those without organized health documentation, though it makes consultations faster. 

Dr. Lee earned our trust with their comprehensive range of gastroenterology and hepatology services. They also provide specialized care for both gut and liver diseases, making them a good choice for complex liver conditions.

Among the clinics we reviewed, this one landed among the most competitive when it comes to costs. New and follow-up consultations are priced at $900, making them an accessible option for those who may be on a tight budget.

On top of this, packages for endoscopy and colonoscopy are inclusive of doctor’s fee, equipment fees, and any additional diagnostic testing. There are no hidden costs, which gives us peace of mind.

We also appreciate that Dr. Lee is affiliated with many top private hospitals, including Gleneagles Hospital and St. Paul’s. This gives patients many trusted options for inpatient care, when necessary.

The only downside is that slots for same-day appointments are limited – urgent situations may require seeing specialists elsewhere. Booking ahead is recommended for non-urgent situations.

Apart from the range of offerings, we also liked that they’re consistently thorough during consultations. In particular, patients loved how the doctors stuck with simple language when explaining findings and treatments.

Perhaps one of the best parts is that they offer emergency services too. And for more complex treatments, patients are referred to any private hospital in the city.
