Another plus for us is that they also cater to outdoor photo shoots. They’re a great fit for families who want more freedom to choose a setting that best reflects their kids’ personalities. Be it a park, beach, or just a simple open space, they’ve got you.

One shoot that stood out to us is their session with the kids having fun with the little goats. The idea came from the team, and the kids loved the experience, as their parents shared.

The creativity that they put into each shoot is something that’s hard to find nowadays. Play with Picture rarely plays the same generic concept, so the end results always feel unique and tailored to the kids.

The only real drawback of working with them is securing a schedule. They’re quite in demand, so we recommend calling them a month in advance.

Rosa and Daniel Photography is a full-service photographer offering family, holiday mini sessions, and kids photography.

One thing that stood out to us about this photographer is their experience. They’ve been capturing milestones and celebrations for over 25 years. With that, they’ve already built a strong reputation and skills in handling kids with different behaviors.

Also, we appreciate that even though they have other photography services, one of their main offerings is kids’ photography. 

They have this sharp sense of being personable with children of different ages. For instance, they were able to relate to the teens, which is super challenging for some. Aside from that, they also give newborns clever looks while still keeping the innocence in the photos.

Their photo shoot duration and inclusions are also favorable. You’ll get a 2 to 3-hour session and up to 100 photos, where you’ll choose from. Then, they’ll edit the ones you’ll choose, more likely 15 to 30 photos.

Their patience is also something worth noting. Clients share that they were able to handle more than 6 kids without panicking. 

However, given their experience and long-standing reputation, expect that they can also be in demand and a bit pricey.

Sugar Drop Photography is owned by May, a mom, wife, and school teacher. The fact that she’s a mom herself is a big advantage, as she knows how to deal with kids. Her background as a school teacher also means she knows how to work with different personalities.

When it comes to offerings, Sugar Drop Photography offers family, maternity, and newborn photography. 

For their newborn photography, we like their flexibility. They have props and wraps provided. But they’re also open to your own outfits, if you have some. We also like their internationally-sourced prop choices, giving parents freedom to choose what color they want.

Aside from their newborn photography, they also take kids’ photo shoots under their family photography service. If you want your kids to have solo portraits or shots, you can just tell them. 

For us, this is ideal if you’re on a budget since you’re getting both your family and your kids’ shots. Unlike other photographers, with separate kids’ photo shoots, which can be expensive.

Editing and the quality of the final results are also great. Indoor shots are well-lit, while outdoor photos have that vivid color, which clients appreciate. It’s clear that May has a great post-processing tactic.

Teschka Takes Pictures caught our attention because of their great outdoor photographs. From beaches to high-rise buildings, they know how to make any location feel stylish and kid-friendly.

As a full-service photographer, Teresa, the owner, caters to portraits and headshots, family, and business photography. It offers convenience for those who need multiple types of shoots handled by one reliable studio.

A quick look at her portfolio shows just how effortlessly she captures kids at their best. One great example we liked is the jumpshot photo of the kids on a road. It looks fun, and she was able to perfectly get the timing (given that kids are always moving and unpredictable).

We also love Teresa’s calm and relaxed attitude. It helps kids feel comfortable during the shoot, making the whole session smoother and, of course, more enjoyable. 

In fact, a parent said that she was able to capture great photos, given that her two kids are camera-shy. 

Just one thing to note is that it’s a one-woman team. That means Teresa’s schedule is very tight and not readily available for urgent shoots.
